This week's show featured a visit by past and present singer-songwriter Minneapolitans Todd Newman and Lori Wray. Todd traversed the mean streets of East Lake Street to make it to the Radio Rumpus Room garage/studio. Lori participated via the phone from her home in Lawrence, Kansas. Both will be playing together at the Acadia Cafe in Minneapolis on Thursday, August 30.

Note: The show featured what is believed to be a KFAI first: Lori dueted with Todd via the phone on "No Pictures Of Dad" -- making for great radio! Come here, Mr. Watson...

For 15 years now Radio Rumpus Room has been broadcast Fridays at 9-10:30 p.m. on KFAI Fresh Air Radio, FM 90.3 Minneapolis and 106.7 St. Paul. The show streams live on the Internet; the two most recent shows are archived in RealAudio on the KFAI website, www.kfai.org.
